PCP’s 18th Annual Branch Conference and Council of Rowangchari Thana Branch Concluded

Hill Voice, 30 July 2026, Bandarban: The 18th Annual Branch Conference and Council of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Hill Students Council (PCP), Rowangchari Thana Branch, was held on Thursday (30 July), at the Rowangchari Town Hall with the slogan: “Join the greater movement to implement the CHT Accord by resisting all kinds of conspiracies”.

The annual branch conference and council was attended by Aungshwe Mong Marma, Assistant General Secretary of the Parbatya Chattagram Jana Samhati Samiti (PCJSS), Bandarban District Committee, as the Chief Guest, while Antar Chakma, General Secretary of the PCP Central Committee, and Ushwehla Marma, President of the PCP Bandarban District Branch, attended as special guests, among others.

Later, in the council session, a 21-member Rowangchari Thana Branch committee was formed, electing Monilal Tanchangya as President, Chasingthoai Marma as General Secretary, and Aungsapru Marma as Organising Secretary. Reng Yong Mro, Vice-President of the PCP Central Committee, then administered the oath of office to the newly elected committee.

The conference was presided over by Hlamongching Marma, President of the Rowangchari Thana Branch, and moderated by Monilal Tanchangya, General Secretary of the branch. Aungshwe Sai Marma, Organising Secretary of the Thana Branch, delivered the welcome speech.
